Lessons Learned: Sharing experiences to boost competitiveness
Biocat and CataloniaBio worked together again in 2015 on the second edition of the Lessons Learned project, offering sessions aimed at allowing professionals from companies in the healthcare and life sciences arena to share their experiences and to network.
More than 350 people came to the six sessions held throughout the year, where experts on strategy and product development, legal and financial issues shared their expertise, experience and viewpoints on key issues for the development of companies in the sector.
At the various sessions, the guest speakers explained the lessons they have learned through their own experience in strategic areas of knowledge associated with the life sciences. So, the events focused on topics like drug discovery, clinical development, patents and licenses, bio-taxation and big data for health.
Each of these events encouraged debate between audience members and speakers, as well as the exchange of information and knowledge between technicians and executives. They were a great opportunity to boost the competitiveness of companies, interaction and sharing of expertise between the audience and the collaborators, and relations among organizations in the sector.
